In October of 2006, six
Air Force bases across six commands were selected to test a
new squadron model by merging the Mission Support Squadron
and the Services Squadron in an effort to realize synergies,
efficiencies and unity of command. On 30 May 2007 the 90th
Mission Support Squadron and the 90th Services Squadron at
F. E. Warren Air Force Base merged together as one, forming
the 90th Force Support Squadron—thereby selected to assist
Air Staff in chartering a new course for future Force
Support Squadrons.
During this phase at F.E.
Warren you will continue to see the Air Force Services logo
in our facilities, on our vehicles and on advertising
materials for our Nonappropriated Fund and MWR business
operations such as the club, bowling center, golf course,
auto center, arts and crafts center, outdoor recreation,
youth, teen, community centers, library, lodging, fitness
