Interested in a quest for knowledge? F.E. Warren’s collection includes
approximately 15,000 volumes which offer a comprehensive selection of best
sellers, fiction, nonfiction and 50 different periodicals.
The library also has movies, books on CD/tape, and music CDs available for
checkout.
The library offers a variety of services. The McNaughton book leasing
program provides customers with best sellers and other current books. There
are several online databases available. These include NewsBank, a
comprehensive information system consisting of articles collected from over
100 U.S. newspapers and two EBSCO data bases covering thousands of magazine
articles. These data bases provide a treasure trove of up-to-date
information on almost any current topic. These databases offer hard-to-find
information, the latest issues, facts, statistics and points of view from
every region of the country.
The newest online database is the Rosetta Stone Language Program. Users can
study up to 16 different foreign languages from their home computer for
free.
The library has twelve free Internet computers for patron use. The library
also has access to several document delivery services and Interlibrary Loan.
Books and print materials can be gathered from any part of the country. An
electronic testing base, Peterson.com, is available for those testing for
SAT’s, ACT’s and more. The magazine selection includes over 50 titles
including magazines for children. Several newspaper subscriptions include
Cheyenne, Denver and USA Today.
The library also has fax services and copy/print services for a nominal fee.
